In 2018, my first children’s column was published. How fitting it was about Halloween. Autumn is my favourite time of year, when the heat of summer has passed, the holidaymakers have dwindled and the nights start to draw in.
Autumn means twilight walks, sea fog and sunset silhouettes. As the leaves fall and the weather turns colder, it feels like anything is possible.
The queen of seasons is here again. It’s time to stir the cauldron and make a wish.
